So I might have a wallabafel for math.
I might think that I'm bad at math, right?
I might have a wall of offal for homework.
If I have to do math homework, I'm tangling with two walls of awful in order to get that done.
Or in order to get that started, I should say.
Because what's happening is when we go to start this task.
There's this huge wall of emotions.
That's what the wall of awful is.
It's an emotional barrier that prevents us from initiating tasks and taking risks.
And we have to navigate that emotional barrier before we can begin whatever it is that we want to do.
And in order to do that, we have to know that it's there.
We have to have some language
to think about it and to talk about it.
And that's the other thing that the wall of offal is, is it's a language model and a thinking model for how to navigate that barrier of negative emotions and negative associations that keeps us from initiating a task.
Yeah.
So there's five ways that people try to get past the wall of offal.
Two of 'em don't work and one of the ways that works is not healthy.
So
Uh and the other two are good pretty s pretty good.
The first way that people try to get past the wall of awful is they just stare at it.
