on this flames roster that that definitely fall under that category and would love to get off to a good start tonight.

Yeah, I think for a guy like him you wanna see you wanna see the superstar that he could potentially be.

I think you wanna see him stand out and separate and it's something that I think, you know, you've you you definitely expect from him.

I s you just given his experience, his skill level, you know, he started to become a guy that that looked like he could produce nightly uh or at least on a regular basis at the National Hockey League level at the end of last year.

And you know, he comes into camp, he's a confident

Kid.

Uh, him and Zayn Perek, uh, first round picks from a couple of years ago.

They both finish on the NHL roster last year, and I think both will get significant opportunity this year throughout the course of it, and and significant offensive opportunities.

I think that's what you want to see from a Flames team that's in the middle of this sort of transitional phase, and they're starting to turn it over to some of their young players.

You have to put these kids, especially the ones that have the off.

offensive gifts to have a chance to succeed and both of those guys will fall.

Obviously Preck's not going to be there tonight.

He's getting ready for main camp.

But I think Gridden is one of those guys that excites a lot of people and has high, high end offensive promise.

And he kind of declared uh you know first day of prospect camp.

You know, he said last year I came in, you know, hoping to make it and and didn't right away, but eventually found his way into the

NHL.

This year he he expects to be there.

He expects and assumes he'll be on the NHL roster.

And that's not something you hear from a twenty year old kid very often, but that's where he that's his mindset and he expects the challenge for the lead lead in scoring.
