a ton of upside on offensively, obviously had some injuries throughout the course of uh last season as well, so that maybe hampered some of his progress.

But he's healthy and I'm telling you, you know, this kid has an unbelievable uh touch round the net.

And you just watch him even in these prospect practices, he finishes and and he did it in development camp.

He had a couple of ooze and ons throughout the training camp uh through in

The summertime and and excited fans from that perspective.

But I think you know, nobody knows the Aginla family and Joe Aginla and his history and what he might be capable of better than the Calgary Flames and Craig Conroy and his scouting staff.

They saw a player and some real high upside to this kid, and he's getting it an opportunity here tonight to you know play in a Battle of Alberta for the first time.

And and what he would hope is the first of many more to.

come.

Uh but I think I think if you just talk to anyone inside the organization, they see a lot of value, they see a lot of upside in his game and and his work ethic and uh and I'm I'm excited to see what it looks like against some real competition here tonight.

You think it more from uh from the forward and defensive standpoint?

Is that kind of uh the direction you're looking?

No, I I think yeah, Wolf and Cooley are are pretty much locked in there and then yeah, the rest of the way, uh I mean I think

They have a lot of NHL contracts still.

I think that's the issue um that this team's gonna run into and and there's there's certainly competition, but I think it's gonna be more so competition in terms of

opportunity playing time within the roster.

I think that's where you almost have to look right now.

Even even on the blue line, they have a lot of contracts right now.
