I already felt that coming into it.
Um more of a stretch four kind of guy, maybe uh
You know, in moments where you need a lot of spacing, can you throw him at the five or something like defensively?
I don't think he's gonna be great in either spot.
Um, but definitely not a three in my mind.
And in a guy that this is probably just not the most conducive environment to see him at his best when it comes down to it.
Yeah, I mean I think I guess a decent amount of mouths to feed in this summer league for the Kings, but I did come into it thinking that he should play extremely well in this.
Like it just felt like he has the style of basketball in order to be able to do so, right?
More of a jack of all trades, master of none.
Um, and I think that's something that's really valuable at the NBA level, but you still have to be pretty consistently good at those things, right?
And I do think the three ball looked a a good bit better.
Um obviously that game winner that he hit in the first game of the California Classic, I guess points to that a little bit, not to use one shot as an example of his three point shooting.
Um but
Yeah, I think I just expected a little bit more personally coming in.
Um in hindsight, it's like, okay, well, Darius was the one handling the ball a lot.
Max has never seen a shot that he doesn't like in his life.
Um, and so like I I think that
You know, I wouldn't say worried, but I did expect a little bit more coming in.
Um, I'm curious to see how that'll translate for next year because the three ball does need to be better.
I think he was way too hesitant on that for a lot of last season.
