I think from people watching on the outside, it's hard to understand sometimes the age of these lads when you've seen them for so long.
And you have to actually remind yourself that they're still young and they will make mistakes.
And Jack Murphy has been so impressive within that Ulster squad.
I think he hasn't been challenged enough with competition and all the rest of it.
And obviously that will come.
But to say the 21-year-old, Richie was speaking beforehand saying, his mother's looking after my home and I might look after him inside and here.
in Ulster and I you know when you say he's 21 it does remind you like that these guys are really punching above their weight and they're very exciting to watch like Neil we would have said that they had you know the most amount of internationals that are about to break through and I think that has started happening so there's a lot of excitement there but as Brett said they need to back that up as well because when they played against Munster you were thinking geez all of a sudden that squad would compete in an AL final as opposed to a URC final you know
Yeah, I don't think we'll see the same rise translating into the Champions Cup just because of, or even domestically, because of the squad depth that Brett spoke about.
But at the same time, we've spoken here for the guts of 18 months about Ulster and the Challenge Cup and what it's going to do for their young squad and everything else.
So, like, you know, don't get me wrong, the target has absolutely been kind of set out and achieved.
I think that this is where they were supposed to go for this squad to bring belief and to bring players like Jack Murphy and Coe
to another level of their game and that's what they're achieving I think win or lose I think a good performance and lose we'll still be speaking about them being a success you know if they have a poor performance and win obviously the same thing but I think a poor performance and losing in the final would be kind of a little bit challenging but at the same time you know this is what we said they should be doing they're gone the whole way in the tournament I think domestically it's going to be hard in the next two weeks because of what we see in the drop off in their squad when they're trying to rest a few fellas or to get injuries but
you know this is absolutely where we saw them going in Irish rugby and representing Irish rugby and two provincial sides in the two European competition finals I think is brilliant for the game in Ireland and they're full value for it I love watching them play to be fair and they've got every chance
