There's only so many great designers of offense, of coaches, that really think things through the way he thinks things through.
He's elite.
He's been elite and he is elite and he knows it.
And he knows what he wants.
He knows the vision of what he wants and what it's going to look like.
And that's rare.
There are a lot of guys that can copy somebody's playbook and run those plays, but...
You know, there's always going to be new plays, new formations.
There's always going to be new concepts.
It's never going to stop.
He's rare.
And so we need that type of innovation this league because what Mike McDonald is doing in Seattle is going to catch up to a lot of offenses.
And when San Francisco can't score a touchdown in the playoff game against that defense, that's coming.
That's coming.
There's going to be proponents of that defense that are going to come out of there.
It's going to be what Kyle Shanahan and McVay did on offense.
The point is he's an elite play caller, an elite designer of offense, and Caleb's lucky that he gets to play for him.
But if you just think about last year, I remember a training camp last year and going up there and just watching practice and the way that he did things that like there was a second week of training camp and he's pumping up Theo Bennett.
