That, you know, Lanny McDonald was not going to be part of the team.

But, you know, I, I wonder, I think about young fans and like my Lanny, Brady Kachuk is someone's Lanny McDonald fan.

to me, like those are the ones that I like, again, like the cutaways to kids with tears always crush me after a loss.

Like, oh man, I don't need to, I don't need to see it.

You know, it's happening.

But like, honestly, Julian, those are the ones, those are the people that I feel for the most.

By the time you get older, you get cynical and hardened and iron skin and all that kind of, again, like,

maybe it's a byproduct of age, I think of those other kids.

Because I remember myself when Laney McDonald got traded.

Oh, my son or daughter is just heartbroken about this Brady Kachuk thing.

I've seen a lot more people online, particularly part of Sens Twitter, and you know about how vibrant of a community that could be, even if the fan base is smaller compared to other teams.

I've seen a lot of people be upset, but I still think that...

In due time, in spite of everything that they've endured in the last year with Brady, I think there are going to be some people who...

will sit with themselves one day and be like, oh man, we had this player in our organization and for everything he gave on the ice and what he did in the community, it sucks that he's not here.

And you bring up an excellent point in the fact that, you know, not everyone's online.

There are a lot of people who live in this city who I'm sure are disappointed and hurt that Brady Kachuk wouldn't be here.

And you know one thing Brady Kachuk did a lot when he was here?
