It was awesome.
It was the first time we had the full crowd back.
Um, the Kenny match I finally got, but I know it wasn't, it wasn't the match we could have.
It was just the match that we have, if that makes sense.
The match you had to have at that time.
And I remember too, even then, like, um, I don't know if I'm mad.
I tell you this, but Don even was like,
oh let's just have breakfast and this and like because he knew how excited i was and uh and don i have a pretty good relationship but like he basically was like trying to to warm me up to the idea like hey listen i know you want to go out there and have this 25 minute you know wrestle kingdom banger it's that's not what that's not what it is not what it's gonna be right now you know what i mean and even tony would be fine with that and he just wants to kill it but and i get it too because even when we're talking to kenny it didn't make sense he goes look
He's like, you know, what does, does WWE have better wrestling than us?
Absolutely not.
He goes, but just having, as we just talked about earlier too, five star matches randomly for no reason, week after week after week is great, but it doesn't, it doesn't build anything else on top of that either.
You know, like, you don't need to have, we didn't have great wrestling, but that builds, uh,
a program to set five star match you know what i mean so now you can get more mileage out of it and stuff so so i get it i get it and again what we did was fine obviously too and we were going to do another match that ended up not happening um so hopefully you know we will still get the opportunity to have have more down there i i love being able to work brian danielson as well um
I wish we could have done more time.
That's something else too.
A lot of my matches I do like.
I mean, that's why I like the Osprey match more because we had a good amount of time in it.
A lot of the matches I've had that I do like a lot have been on TV not that long.
So I wish we'd have a little more, you know, a little more meat on the bone to be able to get more out of it and tell a better story in the ring.
