Rob and I gathered all of those individuals because there was a deadline associated with that memo that they need to either retire.
Then again, they were threats that they would be fired and lose their retirement.
Rob and I were able to discuss with DOJ, listen, all of them, with the exception of one, are eligible to retire.
Just give us an amount of time to give them a choice.
And so the memo came over, it gave a deadline.
And before the deadline, we gathered all of them and gave them that choice.
You can either stay and accept the consequences that are written herein,
or we can have you retired by the deadline.
Now in the FBI, it takes a lot, like more time than you would think because it was administrative burden, so to speak, to retire.
It could take a long time, like sometimes months.
And so we brought in everybody who was responsible for
like pushing a button to clear all of the different hurdles to get them retired within about 24 hours.
And we brought them all in a room and we were able to successfully, after they chose to retire.
And I'm glad they did for their own and their family's benefits.
