Roger Marshall, just in a regular old primary, got w as an incumbent, got two hundred sixty-one thousand votes.

Uh what are you gonna be doing in the next ninety days to convince the rest of Kansas, including a a lot of people who who voted for Donald Trump, who who voted for Roger Marshall, to vote for you?

lost about twenty five percent of his own party's vote, that's true.

So obviously uh there will be a large degree to which this is a referendum on Roger Marshall, but obviously you're also going to have to put forward your own priorities, say who you would be as a senator.

It's not just that you're not Roger Marshall.

Uh what what will be your priority?

Uh if if you had to name one or two things that come the November election you're going to be focusing on, who are you going to tell people Adam Hamilton is?

You uh you mentioning uh quoting Jesus there, uh you know, does raise uh an interesting dynamic in this race where uh in many cases Republicans have sort of claimed the

the the religious territory in a lot of elections across the US right now.

Uh you're coming at this from a different place.

How how do you see religion uh you know, you're you're a you're a high profile minister even before you decided to run for office.

So I know there is someone out there listening who has just not been able to keep up with the news and they want right now to come up to speed.

It's a midterm year, it's a primary.

Just how important is tomorrow's election really uh when it comes down to it?

Though uh Missouri Secretary of State Denny Hoskins at least was predicting a higher than usual primary turnout, uh somewhere over thirty percent.
