I'm glad we cleared that up.

But, you know, we basically, we got an auditor who was just, it was crazy.

My accountant was like, Brian, I'm having to explain cash versus accrual based accounting to this auditor.

and they're not getting it.

Ultimately, we were handed a six-figure tax bill right after going through the Great Recession and everything like that.

And I'm like, what do we do with this?

And the answer was, you pay it, but you can't afford to fight it.

incredibly, incredibly angry.

I remember feeling, because of the injustice of it all.

I'm like, this just isn't right.

There was a bit of God, why me?

Like really?

And there was also a lot of fear about, are we going to be able to pull this off?
