Because we went from having, you know, a very small amount of debt and some cash in the bank to clearing that thing out to having no cash and a bunch of debt.
And I had a lot of fear in that season, a lot.
And out of that, that's where we came up with, and I think it's straight out of Good to Great, we came up with the Moving the Mountain campaign and the BHAG, the Big Hairy Audacious Goal.

And it was the two things.
And I just, I was very honest with my team.
And I did it in a post...
on our company intranet, I actually have a PDF that's now almost, you know, 20 years old, a printout of what everybody said, because I was just, it was middle of the night, and I was just incredibly raw.
And I'm like, here's where we're at, guys.
This is the inning and the score.
And I'm like, we're broke, we're in debt, and we're in trouble.
And here's my plan.
And if you'll go with me on this, we're never going to borrow money again.
We're never going to be in debt again.
And we're going to have a moat of cash all around us.
It was shortly after I'd gone through my very first master series and had kind of like integrated these concepts into what we wanted this to look like.
And we spent, we were projected over three years to pay off the debt, pay off the line of credit, be completely debt-free and have $100,000 in the bank.
which is a lot of money.
But back then it was a real, it might as well have been 10 million, right?
It was just like impossible.
