Well, a long time back I had said that I didn't think the Republic of Ireland should be playing Israel.

I think they should forfeit the games or do whatever has to be done.

But I think that the FAO should take a stand in support of the Palestinian people.

even more relevantly to the FAOI, take a stand for the Palestinian Football Association whose grounds have been raided basically and taken over and Israeli teams playing on the pitches that are still the property of the Palestinian football clubs.

I mean what's going on in Palestine, the whole Gaza situation is abhorrent.

And, you know, because other people don't do anything about it or don't say anything about it, doesn't mean that the FAO should ignore it and just say we go ahead and play the games if nothing goes on.

Geographically, they're not in Europe.

It started a role and it made a difference and they took a stand, it took away a bit of sporting.
