That's a theory.

Now, to extend your discussion about things like four-day weeks and stuff, it may be, depending on the industry and depending on the particular business, it may be that, okay, this basically boosts the profitability of the business significantly.

But over time, the demands to share that boost in productivity with the workforce are

are going to continue to grow.

So in other words, look, I may earn the same amount of money, but only with four days.

But even though you're paying me more per hour, my productivity has increased by much more than that.

So the shareholder is still much, much better off.

the worker is sharing in the productivity benefits by getting the same or maybe even more money for less hours.

That's the ideal.

Now, can governments mandate that?

I'm not sure they can.

To me, that's the sort of thing that has to come about at the business and industry level.

Maybe I'm wrong about that.

Just spitballing a bit here.

For sure.

But I think those sort of decisions...

a best to occur.

That's where smart business people who want a sustainable business model and want a sustainable workforce work with their people to adapt and evolve how their business functions and how they use AI and how they use AI in such a way that everybody wins, the shareholder wins, the workforce wins.

Maybe that's crazily idealistic, but I'd like to think that that's possible.

Quite possibly.
