That's quite possible.

And the Charlie Mugger quote is powerful.

My sort of alternative to that quote is sometimes, from an investment perspective, the best strategy is one of benign neglect.

So yes, you know that money is going into your super every week, every fortnight, every month, whatever.

And sometimes you'll be buying into an upmarket.

sometimes you'll be buying in a period where markets are down.

But on average, you'll be accumulating wealth, and that wealth will earn a return, and it'll be reinvested back into your nest egg.

And that power of compound interest, the compounding of returns, that's an extraordinarily powerful force over the course of someone's 40 or 50-year working life.

Being invested for the longer term.

And you're right too, just as an aside, I often get asked, well, who are the winners out of AI?

And people are focused on the so-called magnificent seven companies, NVIDIA and Tesla and all the rest of them.

But the winners out of AI over time is going to be everybody's productivity.

And you could envision how that technology could be applied to boost the productivity and returns from a whole range of businesses across a whole range of industries and geographies.

And so to me it comes back to don't try and pick which individual company is going to be the winner because there's going to be plenty of them.

So having a diversified exposure to a whole range of them is your best defence against not being able to pick those individual winners and your best defence against the fact that the winners are going to be many and varied.

I'm optimistic.

Look, I'm still an optimist about the future.

I do think that humankind has shown an ability to deal with crisis and move on.

I often say in presentations, look, the only thing that's – there's always a light at the end of the tunnel and it's not a train.

It's the end of the tunnel.
