and that's what we do yeah and over time um you know if we say for example um we've got a portfolio that's say 70 in growth assets such as shares or in private equity for example um

We're pretty much going to be, if markets look really, really cheap, we might do some buying and we might be a few percent more in shares than 70%.

But if markets start to look overheated and if we don't see a lot of value, we can cut it back a little bit.

But we're not going to be, if someone said, I want a balanced portfolio or a growth portfolio,

We are not going to swing that around and go into cash and go 100% into shares.

We want to deliver what's on the box.

So if you are a more conservative investor, we have offerings for you.

If you are a higher growth, higher risk investor and you're prepared to accept market volatility, we've got offerings for you.

And by the way,

during those periods of market volatility, we will try and take advantage of that.

And by taking advantage of it, we can hopefully boost your longer term returns a little bit.

Well, that's right.

And we need to get comfortable and learn more about it.

And if you've got a diversified portfolio of shares, both Australian and international, your chances of actually getting a good long-term return, if you're prepared to think about the next 10 years, are actually pretty good.

Again, there's no guarantees in life and there's no guarantees about the future.

But when we look at the history of these things, if you are prepared to take a longer-term view, ride out short-term periods of market volatility and

the reward you get for that is a better longer-term outcome.

Yeah, a bit of that.

Benign neglect.
