But he's hearing from his local state representative who's, you know, an ally of the governor.

He's hearing from the county farm bureau that gets information from the state farm bureau.

Hey,

you know, don't worry, Governor Noem's going to look out for you or whoever the governor is, you know what I mean?

And so it's complicated.

It's more complicated for that person.

The picture of information they have is different.

Yeah, you know, the farmers that I know back home, you know, believe in dignity for everybody.

And they treat their workers right.

And their workers are hardworking people.

I mean, we've got, you know, a little small town near the closest town to our farm, Plain, Wisconsin.

There's all kinds of folks living there who are immigrant laborers, working on local farms, working for local businesses.

Sometimes they get a hand up and they're able to start their own business, you know, pouring concrete, painting houses, you know, all kinds of things.

People, you know, it's the American dream happening in a lot of these small towns.

And I think that what we have is people who are living with and working with people who are they a lot of respect for.

And then there's a disconnect between that and the national conversation.

I think that's true of the right and the left of everybody where, you know, it's really it's really easy to have a connection with someone that, you know, personally and say, hey, I know this person.

And, you know, that that discussion that's being had about, you know, immigrant labor and things like that.

And actually, that's different.

That's not that's not where I am.
