Now, I don't know that gentleman, but what I can tell you is, you know, when you talk to people in farm areas in rural America,

They really they sometimes have a lot more nuanced views of this stuff than it will appear in a quick media clip, you know.

And the reality of the situation is that, you know, a guy in that kind of situation probably supports Republicans and President Trump for a wide variety of issues.

Probably, I would guess, is supportive of securing our border and like some of what he hears on immigration.

But also, I think, would like to think because he has, you know, he has earnest good faith in the people he voted for, whether people agree with that vote or not.

He has earnest good faith in those people that they're going to understand the nuance of this stuff.

They're going to move forward with their big, broad goals, but they're going to account for the needs of ag.

You know, you have the same thing on tariffs, right?

Like people say, like, why are farmers so supportive of President Trump in light of tariffs?

And

The reality is that it's not that they don't understand and they're just living with a contradiction.

The reality is that they know that there's been unfair trade practices, something needs to be done, and they have faith, whether they should or not, whether other people think they should have that faith or not.

They have faith that you can execute a tougher trade stance and still pursue the kinds of markets that we need to have for farmers to be able to sell their excess crops abroad.

So the policy is complicated and complex, and that allows for

that allows for some nuance of views.

But I think from the outside and quick clips, it's easy to make it seem like or have it feel naturally like somebody just kind of doesn't know what they're talking about.

You know, I believe it.

I mean, I can't tell you that I've calculated and done the math in terms of the size of farm and all that sort of stuff that he has.

But the reality is, look, it's not only milk.

it's fruits and vegetables.
