I really appreciate that.

It's a pleasure to be here.

Yeah, it's interesting.

I was a CIO and I'll, I'll keep it brief.

I was a CIO in a medium sized company wanting to get back into fortune 500, but I wanted to get it back into the C-suite and, uh,

Didn't know what to do.

Recruiters couldn't give me that magic bullet to get me there.

So I started really mimicking influencers on LinkedIn because I saw that they were making things happen and they were working in these large Fortune 100 companies or doing some really cool things.

And so I just took it to the next level.

I said, well, I'm going to do what they did.

I fell down many, many times.

But over the course of about 14 or 15 months,

learning the hard way, applying to writing privileges for CIO.com, et cetera.

And eventually all of a sudden my social media blew up.

I was listed on the top 100 CIOs in the world.

One of my articles on CIO.com got a million views and things just really started happening.

And I had no idea I was building my personal brand.

And then I saw from a PR perspective, I was listed as a tech influencer in this space.

So that's kind of how it all started.
