I made a million dollars.

I always laugh when I tell people a million dollars is not much money.

Because, you know, I paid taxes.

I paid off my house, which I had to argue with the bank because they didn't want me to.

I bought two cars and I had like 100 grand left over.

So there was my million bucks.

It was gone.

I had to go get a job.

The second company we sold was another insurance agency.

And we sold it for about seven, like seven and a half million.

I did okay on that.

But again, I had to split that with partners.

I got a little less than two million out of the deal.

Pay taxes, do the things you do.

Your lifestyle goes up.

Still not the big deal.

The third company we sold was to private equity.

That's when we sold for 80.

We kept money in the back end for turnout and we ended up not getting any of it.

So we only ended up with about 60 of the 80 and we had to split that five ways.
