I can't speak for exactly why, but if the official doesn't blow the whistle until the ball hits the ground, the horn goes off because we're talking about half second. Got it. I mean, 0.5 seconds, they're probably not going to make a shot. I put it this way.

The Wolves in the fourth quarter went 14 of 28. That's 50% where I come from. They made six out of 13 threes. They out-rebounded the Thunder. They committed fewer turnovers or the same turnovers than the Thunder, but gave up fewer points off turnovers.
