It's a lot.
It is a lot.
So instead of trying to incorporate new habits before you even actually build strong ones, focus on implementing like three core habits that you will actually stick to.
And these core habits will be the backbone of your entire summer glow ups.
So I need you to replace the mindset of trying to make things harder with actually making it easier for yourself, which I know you might be like, how is that going to make me glow up if I start doing less?
If you do less, you have room to improve more.
And once you make those improvements and they last, then you can build upon that and you will have more capacity
to grow and implement more habits.
But for starters, if you have not successfully accomplished any of your habits that you've been trying to implement, I truly encourage you to start small.
I used to try to go to the gym five days a week and then if I missed one day, I wouldn't go for the rest of the week and I would just be so hard on myself if I weren't
accomplishing all these goals.
So instead of that, I challenge myself to walk maybe four to five days a week and then I'll get my workouts three days a week.
And I know for some people you might be being like, well, I want to do more than that.
Well, your progress is actually going to be greater if you can stick to those three days a week at the gym, opposed to trying five days a week and then failing on week two.
Or maybe the habit you're trying to implement is to wake up at 5 a.m.
every single day instead
and you're failing on day two because you're so tired from day one, why don't you first start small by waking up an hour earlier each day so you could work up to waking up at 5 a.m.
Or if you're trying to drink some crazy green protein juice smoothie every single night and it tastes bad and it gives you stomach issues and you're wasting all the ingredients and spoiling them because you're forgetting about your smoothie,
maybe just try to drink a gallon of water a day for starters.
And little core habits like that make the biggest difference.
