And, you know, everyone wanting to buy stuff can push up the prices.
So this candy store has all different types of candy.
And let's say everyone decides they must have candy right now.
Here's how that could drive up the price.
I'll have three cases of ZZ Tarts and one Almond Brothers Crunch.
All right, now let's say that happens in stores all up and down the street.
Everyone wants to buy more hamburgers and flowers and bell-bottom jeans and gas, and they've got the money to do it.
And all these store owners realize that they can increase their prices, and people won't stop buying stuff.
But inflation isn't just the price of one thing going up.
It's when a whole bunch of prices go up at about the same time.
This store is getting a little too crowded.
How about we ditch the 70s and head back to the future?
Yep, everyone's looking down at their phones and seems more stressed out.
