So Lilliput means the little part of it.

So they're little and they're free and they're all about sharing.

Yeah, that's due to the fabulous Ruth Arneson who dreamed up the plan to have these lovely little libraries that are all individually decorated and

And she started, she had an idea and she has continued to promote them and to find new guardians for Lilliputs and to basically, they're now nationwide.

They're all over the place.

So you can just, people love the idea of sharing their love of reading, but also it gives books another home to go to.

after you've finished with them.

So they are small, bespoke, tiny little boxes that we call a Lilliput library.

Isn't that amazing?

I have a lot of dog walkers go past mine and it's just fascinating to see how people behave.

I always...

because I'm often pulling up or I'll be coming back from walking my dog and I'll find other dog walkers and people just wandering around the neighbourhood who've found the library and who come back all the time.

It's a great thing.

Oh, that's absolutely correct.

I think I get a lot from people just clearing out their bookshelves and going, I don't need this anymore.

Surely somebody will want it.

And so they show up.

And not all of them are the most incredible books.

I mean, some of them are a little bit broken.

And so if they're not in great condition, I tend to have a little bit of a weed sometimes.
