So I think the opportunity to find something that you wouldn't try otherwise, but you have this, you know, you can see it there and you think, oh, that looks interesting.

Maybe I'll take that.

But you'd never buy it and you mightn't,

ever find some of these books in the library because some of them are quite unusual, they're niche.

But because it's free and the opportunity is there, you just think, oh, I'll give that one a go.

I have friends who visit mine, every time they come for a cup of tea, they'll check the library on the way out and they always talk about trying some things that they think, I would never have borrowed that from the library, but I took it because it was a little bit

outside my comfort zone and I didn't have to carry it home.

I didn't have to think about it.

I could just take it.

So, yeah, and no money changes hands and I love that.

It's the generosity of spirit that is with the Lilliput as well that's cool.

Well, I love it when you get two people who don't know each other standing at your Lilliput talking about what someone's putting in and what someone else is taking away.

I think that's just super cool.

I love that, so they build community and they create an opportunity to read that maybe, you know, not everybody goes to a library, but if you accidentally encounter a book while you're out on your travels, daily travels, then you might think, oh yes, actually maybe I will fill that five minutes of my day with a book.

I think books are designed to be read more than once.

And having books sitting on your shelf, as a book collector, I have guilt about the number of books that I can't part with.

But I think that it's nice to make things work hard for their existence in the world.

I read somewhere once that the average book is made to be read five times.

And lots of books only ever get read once.

And then they just rest on their laurels until, I don't know, they turn into a deceased estate.
