The thing that I usually default back to is variety.
Um
It's really easy to get in and pack the same thing for every day.
And I I definitely do that because it's it's easy, it's systematic.
But um wherever, whenever possible, adding in a little bit of variety and snacks is probably the easiest place to add in variety.
Really enjoy doing that, especially on these longer hikes.
The biggest thing is for me
I don't wanna get like food fatigue out there because you need to be putting in a lot of calories.
And for me personally, again, I'm a you know, two hundred to two hundred and ten pound guy that that consumes a lot of calories, I've decided, compared to some other people.
Um
I really am gonna be targeting like four thousand calories a day.
The thing that has confused me in the past, where I c where I sometimes get off on this, is for me personally, this is my own experience, a lot of people pack less calories than that.
Don't get me wrong, some people pack more calories than that.
But what what confuses me is when I go from like a a hunting trip, a sportsman's trip, when I'm hiking in and then I'm pretty stationary as I'm like just glassing and and staying like I'm not doing
Miles every day on a hunting trip, right?
I don't need 4,000 calories a day for that.
Yeah.
So then I'll like, so when I bounced between those two things, sometimes last year was an example.
I got out there and I probably only had about 3,300 calories a day.
And I was hungry a lot.
