However, there have been some recent pads that have come out that have brought some price points down.

So historically, you know, Thermorest has had just some amazing pads.

They're like the warmest and lightest, and they've moved them up to a three-inch thick pad.

Um, and so that those have been like the gold star for me for quite a while.

Uh quick tip with that, don't blow them up, rock hard if you can.

Um, I usually am letting air out of it so that I sink into that pad a little bit.

Um if you let too much air out of it though, you might sink too close to the ground and your R values aren't really helping anymore.

So you might get like a cold hip.

So that's something to pay attention to is to try to find that balance in the pad.

Uh but that's kind of been the gold star.

This last year though, Nemo came out with a Nemo Eclipse and

I haven't actually seen this pad, but I just was hearing about it.

Maybe you know this pad from Big Agnes that I think is similar in weight and size and things from Big Agnes.

I don't know that pad.

You can't take them into the coldest conditions.

But for the R value that it has, I've been taking it to freezing temperatures.
