the utter fearlessness of Veronica Geeran as a reporter, that despite the fact she'd been shot, hospitalised, despite the fact that John Gilligan had assaulted her, as she happened to be in her solicitor's office at the time and it was heard, despite all of that, she was determined to go after the gangs.
She felt this was the story.
And of course, her legacy as a fearless journalist is is in law in Ireland.
