What do we do?
We host an event series called Date My Friend.
It's a live event where people come and pitch their friends on stage in front of a crowd in like a rock venue.
And then afterwards, they all hang out and mingle.
We live in LA and the worst pickup line I've ever heard was actually to me.
And someone said, wow, you're my favorite female photographer, which I'm a, I'm a full time touring photographer.
He's like, Britt, you're just my favorite female photographer.
I was like, dude, it doesn't work if you don't just say I'm your favorite photographer in general.
You've got to throw female in there.
And I just have never forgot it.
The word female just felt so crazy.
okay we've been here yeah yeah yeah i've seen this it can work you have to be like super handsome i mean yes if you're super handsome you can do anything yeah yeah yeah it's just a way to express i'm interested in you and like okay that's exciting i think it works maybe if it's directed as a joke like if you're making a joke about the fact that you're doing a pic you gotta be mad about it yeah yeah it's kind of
I think for me, at the moment, it's an expansive side quest.
It started as a... Not even inside, but kind of a joke.
The idea was...
Let's get all our fun single music friends up on stage at a venue we love and give like wedding speeches about them.
And I put it on Partiful just out to our friends.
And it was the first time ever I've made an event on Partiful where I made it open to the public, which I've never done.
