My friend went out for a solo dinner last night, and he texted me, and he was like, man, that was the best experience.
I could cry.
I've never done that before, and now I want to do it all the time.
And I'm just like, it was so vulnerable and nice.
And, like, to hear him just, like, be so inspired and be like, I'm a tech-sport about it.
Yeah.
It's such a great feel alone, like, out in the world.
I think something I've seen, especially at our events, is when people lead with understanding or feeling like okay with who they are as a person.
Like you come into a space, even if you're not there to pitch or be pitched, but you come just to hang out, kind of being open to telling people about yourself and not leading with like putting yourself down.
I think that's a real big one that people can just default to be like, I'm sorry, I'm stupid.
And that just, if we can cut that out and like,
Take away that wall of immediately hitting people with like, I'm dumb.
And instead be like, hey, I'm Johnny and I love to go metal detect or whatever Johnny's doing.
Johnny too.
I think that is my big thing is watching people who are just comfortable, not like overly confident and cocky, but they're just like, I'm me.
And I'm going to put myself out here and I'm not going to like lead with...
Yeah, that's what I'm getting at.
Confidence.
No self-deprecation.
But that was great.
