It's just like everyone kind of feels like they know people.

there's so much to talk about yeah they say something also it's such a silly event like you'll talk to someone crazy or not someone crazy somebody who wasn't even up there you'd be like i mean how'd you end up here like how crazy is this i'm like oh i know you should get pitched all of a sudden we're talking how much are tickets they are never they never are above 20 because i want to really make sure that like a drink yeah i want everyone to be able to come yeah everyone will be tickets above 20 yeah um but so they range between 14 and 20 depending on the area yeah yeah um tonight the tickets are i think 14 bucks

That has been the key study of Date My Friend.

And the reason why I think it's two pieces.

The first one is people are tired of not knowing who or what they're talking to online.

So there's like this whole, I mean, seriously, like, I don't know if I'm talking to an AI.

Like you are locked into humans in a room, real genuine stories, like just people.

And I think there's an element of that removed from modern dating culture with people beyond apps and like just the unknown element of the Internet these days.

So I think the desire to be more offline, there's a larger movement of like people wanting to do stuff more digitally or like less digitally these days.

And like more endearing.

I think people are wanting to be a little bit more like loving because our world's so brutal now that like the event is very endearing.

Yeah.

And entertaining.

And they're very entertaining.

So I think it's people are like, this is cute and kind.

And also it's funny.

And also I don't like the Internet right now.

Yeah, that's because that's just where our, especially my background has lived.

I've always lived in the DIY kind of like indie rock space, but obviously we would love to capture everyone.

It just has origins in that world.
