I I think since your honor was asking questions about the capital structure, it's pretty clear from the pre file testimony that that was a concern of staff as well.
Um it actually goes back to the last rate case where we had proposed a hypothetical capital structure of fifty fifty initially, but then ultimately stipulated to the hundred percent equity with a commitment from the company to move towards balancing the capital structure.
We felt in this case that the eighty-five fifteen that the company had proposed in their application didn't go quite far enough towards balancing the capital structure.
And we thought using the actual capital structure of the parent is more appropriate than using some kind of hypothetical or doing a Hamada adjustment.
Um through the course of the settlement discussions, as Mr.
Delenko indicated.
Um the eighty twenty that's in the agreement we think does take
steps towards balancing the capital structure.
For us, the commitment in the next rate case to go to a sixty forty is what we're really looking for.
And it's one of those things like Mr.
Crockett just asked me about, there's give and take when you're having settlement discussions.
And this was one of those.
