Okay, I'll start with the water master plan.
That might be the easier example.
So that was a study that the company um had a third party engineer do an evaluation of their system and make recommendations on infrastructure projects they should focus on over the next five year period.
Generally when we're evaluating those engineering type of studies, they're specific to a project.
So say a new well, looking at a new well, where to drill a new well.
Those would generally be capitalized as part of the cost of that well.
Um, in this case, because it covered the entire system, we didn't feel comfortable treating it as a regulatory asset, because then they'd get a return on N of that.
Um, but we wanted to make sure that they were able to recover the cost because we found benefit in them doing this type of analysis.
And helping them do their planning for future infrastructure.
So the the recommendation we had was to amortize that expense over a five year period 'cause it's a five year plan.
Um for the fusion software.
Software can get even trickier because you've got cloud based computing now.
And some instances it would make sense to capitalize that in other instances it doesn't.
