They have the best offense in baseball, scored the most runs in baseball, and their bullpen is terrible.

So really, you're looking at a team that probably needs four, maybe five bullpen arms to actually compete with the big boys.

They're probably not going to do that.

They're really at an interesting inflection point, though, because if you get rid of Abrams, you're kind of saying to your fans, hey, hey, we're ahead of schedule.

We're still kind of in that get rid of young superstar mode.

CJ Abrams, James Wood, obviously all stars.

So I think that the front office with Paul Toboni is going to kind of tread carefully.

If there's a team that's willing to overpay with close to big league ready, if not big league ready talent, then you go for it.

But I think it would really kind of hurt the fan base and hurt the enthusiasm.

There's been a groundswell of enthusiasm for a team that has been pretty miserable over the last few seasons.

So you kind of have to weigh that a little bit as well.

I think Zach Nadeau with the Angels is a shortstop who's also in high demand.

We saw the Angels already put up that for sale sign with trading their catcher last night.

So I do think there's going to be some interesting position players.

Obviously, Tarek Skubal is going to be the prize.

I would be shocked if he's not traded, but I'm very curious which way the Nationals go with a guy like Abrams.
