you're not going to get the same gains as someone who's running 24-7 on multiple work streams.
That's what's happening.
The productivity multiple is so much more than incremental at this point.
And most orgs are going to miss this shift entirely, not because the tools are inaccessible, because they've not built their internal infrastructure to use them this way.
You can't run autonomous agents on undocumented workflows.
You can't self-evaluate against quality criteria that live in somebody's head.
The orgs closing this gap now will be operating in a fundamentally different league by the end of 2027.
The ones that don't will still be workshopping their prompts, discussing, you know, where data exists, trying to figure out how to map this thing to that thing.
It's a big gap to get to where this leading orgs are going to get to.
And it's going to make it much more complicated to start building that structure late in the game.
I agree with everything you laid out here, but the reality, and I've heard this over and over from conversations, that most organizations try to do the right thing and then they hit the first bit of friction, difficulty, or failed experiment, and they slide back into measuring adoption because that's what the board wants to see and that's what the media pick up on.
And unfortunately that's what the stock market reacts to.
But the ones that break through this are the ones with a leader who treats the measurement infrastructure as non-negotiable, who ties their own credibility to those outcomes, not the activity.
So I want to add three that I think are gonna push your success a little further.
So number one is that your AI initiatives can't be tied exclusively to engineers.
I know that sounds counterintuitive because engineers are the ones getting the documented wins.
They're doing it.
It's built into their DNA in so many respects.
But the reason they're winning is changing fast.
A year ago, model quality was a differentiator.
