I think part of it, again, the internet, like, I think it's made everyone feel entitled to audit black women's faces, bodies, hair.
I also think that black women get judged for doing too much, but then you will be judged if you don't do enough.
So it's like you really can't win.
And the margin for error is incredibly small.
I think the hair conversation is interesting because I think that the hair conversation, the policing of black women's hair, I see it much more from other black women because I think outside of our culture, they don't know what's going on.
But if you're in a black space, it's like, no, you've really got to come correct because we actually do know.
I think that with Love Island, it is very interesting.

Like Black women are the stars.
People have all of these opinions about like how their hair should look.
And we, I think as Black women, I'm speaking for the Black women's community, I think we need to be very careful about having these conversations internally.
