And there are hundreds of studies that show the power.
You know, our breath will go down.
It will calm us in times of change.
Our heartbeats will synchronize, et cetera.
Okay.
It's also unnecessary, right?
And I think that I kind of love this, right?
You don't need to get down on one knee to get engaged.
You don't need to wear black to mourn, right?
You don't need to circle the bride six times to get married.
These are unnecessities that we make necessities by infusing them with collective meaning.
Like some of my great tips I heard are people like passing around rings everywhere.
before people get married so everyone touches them so that by the time the couple puts the ring on, they've got the warmth of everybody.
That's an example.
And finally, they make you feel at home.
And what is that?
That's calm.
