Uh that's right.
He was then cleared on the on both of them were cleared.
They were reported for striking each other and both were it was thrown out by the tribunal on the Monday.
Uh and George makes the point that, you know, Kevin Murray was a was a p that outstanding Brandley medalist.
But you just wonder whether or not George w might have been able to at least share the m medal with him, uh, after at least after kicking six goals.

And he he he I he's not sure which of them approached the other, but they were swapping clubs.
So one was going to Carlton and and uh Robert was going back to Carlton and David was going to Fitzroy.
And uh David did say to me that he said that his first year at Fitzroy was the best year he felt that he'd coached, which was a a fair statement for a guy who'd taken Hawthorne and Carlton to Premier.
And he said that it was based on the fact that the intel that he he'd got from all the players from from Robert from sitting there for a couple of hours in the uh at uh at Channel Seven uh after their World of Sport uh coaches corners and they they swapped notes uh and they did it very um frankly too that uh they uh there was a lot of uh a lot of um intel
about players and how they were controlled by their girlfriends and wives and uh how how they couldn't be relied on in a pressure situation and that and then of course there was the obvious um positive ones about how you know how people wa would stand up for them.

Uh he was conscripted sent to um uh first he w he went to Manley in in up in uh base up in Sydney, but then these uh when it came round to the finals he of six sixty nine he was up at a an army base up in the Adelaide Hills and uh the grand final
uh day he was uh there was a a bivouac, a weekend bivouac on on into into the bush and Graham Richmond, who was the power broker at Richmond and Alan Schwab who was the secretary said you have to pay someone else uh to take your place.
And uh so Royce um saw a new bunch of crew recruits arrived.
