So the next day I go down to the old Vic and I'm in the wings waiting for my turn.

So it's my turn and Gillian Diamond comes out and he goes, Peter, this is Brian.

He's going to do this part from Love's Labour's Lost.

And I do that.

And Peter goes, yeah, you're racing ahead of the text.

Just do it again.

So I do it again.

He goes, right, yeah.

And then they've got the musical director of the National Theatre is there.

And so then Gillian says, and Peter says, Brian got a song.

And Gillian says, yes, Peter, he's got When the Red, Red Robin Comes Probably.

So I stand up in front of them and I do it like this.

I go, when the red, red robin comes bob, bob, bob and along, along.
