Sally and I visited New Zealand for a couple of months, five years ago, and a parish I'd been working with had just closed, and so I was sort of effectively between jobs.

And the pandemic was still sort of rolling around, and Australia was in lockdown, so we came over to New Zealand, which wasn't in lockdown at the time.

And after we'd arrived, we realised that the anniversary was coming up, the 40th anniversary of this game, and I thought...

actually, Lindsay and I get on okay now.

Why don't we do a video together of our two different experiences of the day and what we think about it now?

And I'd brought some video equipment across.

Our church had been doing videos during the pandemic.

I'd had a bit of experience.

And so Sally and I and Lindsay all sat down and planned out this video and we went down to the ground.

So we were in Hamilton.

So we went down to the ground and shot it and

had a marvellous time doing it and putting it all together and put it on the internet and then it got picked up by the local newspaper again.

So we were really pleased.

Look, I'm backing the All Blacks.

Since we've been back in New Zealand, there's no question.

So, yeah, I'm an All Blacks supporter.

And all Lindsay's highfalutin detail, nah, nah, it's All Blacks.
