But of course, if you have all of these people selling, then everyone else is going, oh, why are they all selling?

And so it popped, but then it never recovered.

And so there are plenty of examples where people just get way too excited, feel like it's the cheapest time that the company will ever be and put all their money in, where in actual fact, time and time again, it's probably the worst time that you could put money into the company because of the way that IPOs are designed to operate.

Well, I mean, you could probably just look back at all the big tech companies.

Like Google, Meta, Amazon, any of these companies had incredible IPOs.

You could have sat back and gone, man, I miss the IPO.

They all had drawdowns over the 12 months since the IPO that you would have lost money.

But then if you'd got in at any point across that preceding 12 months and just held from then, I mean, these companies are up incredible amounts, incredible amounts.

So it's not to say these companies are bad companies.

I'm not saying that SpaceX is a bad company.

It's just that at this particular point in time, the whole thing has been engineered to get the best, highest value possible that might not have any relation to it as a business.

As a business.

Yeah.

And so...

just like all investing like the more patient you can be yeah wait for it it's not going to go anywhere yeah you'll have an opportunity you're probably going to be better off longer term on that then yeah

I'm interested in those guys, definitely.

I think I'm more interested in Anthropic than OpenAI.

That's just personally because I love using Claude.
