And I didn't quite get it in the hospital.

When I got in the car seat, if you watch that part of the video, when I got from the wheelchair to the car, I was like, oh my God, this is great.

And I'm missing my leg, brother.

So I remember waking up the next morning from that car ride.

And I told Stacey, I said,

If this was it, if there was no such thing as a prosthetic leg, if this was it, we made the right decision because it was, my life was going to be better.

I could feel it.

With that leg gone, then it just hanging off of me, useless.

If you weren't battling addiction, you think your knee would have healed up quicker?

Absolutely not.
