And I decided I was going to do Comics Unleashed, a 30-minute show.

And we only have on comedians.

It's a comedy show.

No celebrities talking about books, movies or TV shows.

Boom.

So I decided to do two half hours back to back to create a one hour block, which is the way a lot of viewing takes place.

And I put it in syndication over 20 years ago.

And I've had on over a thousand comedians, an unknown Kevin Hart, an unknown Chelsea Handler, Sebastian Maniscalco, Nate Bogotsky, Sheryl Underwood, Tiffany Haddish.

And I just said, this is our platform.

And when CBS, they had a 1230 slot open up because Corden stepped down and the host that was to replace him, she stepped down.

And I said to CBS, I have all these episodes.

I'll buy that time period from you at 1230.

They said, okay, and we put the show on and it works.

And it was working, doing very well against Seth Meyers out of 56 metered markets, Nielsen metered markets, beating him in 44 of them in key demos.

And then when they decided not to renew Colbert,

That time period became available.

And I said to them, guys, I own a number of CBS affiliates and ABC and NBC and Fox affiliates.

And I said, why are you giving me why are you spending money to give me an audience to take that audience and run away at one eight hundred spray on air commercial?

I'll buy the time period.
