And next to him was David Letterman, who had just driven out from Indianapolis in a red pickup truck.

And he drove out because he didn't think he was going to he might he wasn't sure he was going to make it.

And he wanted to get back in his car and go back to Indianapolis and Jay Leno.

And I'm sitting there as a 14 year old kid and I'm writing jokes with them.

And I'm learning comedy and the art of comedy and the science of comedy.

And I never stopped performing.

And I ended up being the youngest comedian to do The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.

And I was 18 and that got me a number of offers and that got me a show called Real People.

And I did that reality show, but I never lost track.
