Throughout the book he draws on the themes and it's the last great chapter too of God's own vulnerability that to become human he had to be willing to suffer.
And so there is something about the suffering God, the God who dies, the vulnerable one.
That makes it particularly poignant for any of us.
Who are going through hard times.
Which is to say, all of us, right?
We are all human.
We all feel pain.
We all feel the brokenness of our world, whether it's our bodily sickness, whether it's the relational sadness in our families, or whether it's the horror of the war in Ukraine and Palestine or wherever.
Um, whether it's the big public stuff or the deepest, tender stuff of our heart, we all know that things are not the way they're supposed to be.
And so our suffering needs an ally.
And in the person of Jesus we have that.

And uh beginning to get into the spice, the apple spice, pumpkin spice stuff.
