Ken is uh a pastor of a denomination, and it sounds like it's just a descriptor of a church, but it's actually the name of the denomination.
It's called the Charismatic Episcopal Church.
It is Pentecostal folks, think of assembly of God or non-denominational sort of holy rollers as some people call them, you know, full spirit believing and healing and the power of the spirit and speaking in tongues and so forth.
Pentecostal churches.
That have discovered liturgy.
And have learned about the d higher, deeper ways of the Orthodox tradition and the Anglican tradition, the Catholic tradition.
So they've created this small sort of offshoot denomination called the Charismatic Episcopal Denomination.
Some of the bishops are almost orthodox, it seems to me, and some are Anglican-ish.
So it's in this sort of broad evangelical world where there are people that long for the integration of the spirit.
And the sacrament, a sacramental worldview enlivened by the role of the Holy Spirit, particularly former Pentecostals, or not even former.
People that are charismatic and living into the liturgical calendar.
There's a church near us here, very, very dear friends, really sharp leadership there, that were an independent non-denominational church, didn't even celebrate Advent, wouldn't even light candles.
You know, they were Pentecostal.
And came into our store years ago and slowly on began to learn about the liturgical calendar and the church year and candles and
And now they're full blown charismatic Episcopalians, you know, where the collar and
Uh the pastor there is now Father Mike and he's friends with
Father can.
So Ken Tanner's a
