Um, so it's uh it's neat, I think, as a gift book, would be useful for any of us that just want to dip in and a new fresh translation of some of Jesus' teachings, uh, illuminated by this artwork.
It's just a nice thing to have and to ponder and to hang out with and to use devotionally, perhaps.
I think also, Phil, I think this is a great gift book to anyone who is new to the person of Jesus, maybe even people of other religions or other cultures that don't know the historic standard stuff about Jesus.
It'll it it won't uh sully their perspective with a whole lot of Western white Jesus lingo from the Renaissance.
You know, this is like uh just a really vibrant introduction to the ways and
Teaching and wisdom of the person of Jesus.
It is not only his secular his um
You know, like teachings about be loving each other.
There's some books that are merely that.
Uh this it looks at the nature of who Jesus is, the nature of God, and the nature of prayer.
So it's a pretty full orbed perspective, but it gets at the humanity and wisdom Jesus has for all of us.
And that may be an entree into
a conversation with a seeker perhaps who everybody's looking for wisdom.
Everybody's looking for how do we live.
Everybody's who we really are.
So these generate some really good answers to some of the deepest questions that everybody struggles with.
So I I think it's, you know, it's eighteen ninety nine.
