So there's this world of indie tabletop role-playing, and maybe my favorite right now from that space is called The Quiet Year by Avery Archer.

And it's a storytelling game in which you play the spiritual godlike forces that surround a village barely surviving after the apocalypse.

And you have to respond to various prompts and tell a story about the villagers.

And every turn, you have to draw the event that just happened onto a shared map.

So you slowly build this beautiful shared map

As you like tell the trials and tribulations and you have people die and help each other and survive.

And it's just like this piece of collective narrative magic that you can just do.
