So it was one of those things where I think at the very least they knew it was possible to come back from 8-1.
And they gave it their best.
It was interesting.
But, yeah, and so really they're hoping for a long start from Zach Littell today.
But, I mean, the other thing is they got into the Blue Jays' bullpen and got the Blue Jays to have to use some guys.
So, you know, it's one of those funny things where you –
don't want to lose, but you can impact the next day's game by forcing the Blue Jays to have to use some of their, well, their closer and some of their better relievers.
Well, they need to win.
Win a lot of games.
But, you know, I would think this weekend is big for the Reds because that team they're facing that is five games ahead of them comes to Great American Ballpark for three games starting Friday with the New York Mets.
So, you know, they could make up for a lot of ills by sweeping the Mets.
If they don't sweep the Mets...
you know math kind of works how math works and and we'll see if that's um possible to overcome but i just don't expect
yeah it's huge and and I mean like I'm talking to people who've seen it up close before with a lot of young talent coming um maybe not coalescing or or gelling quite as quickly as you would hope I mean look at the Blue Jays they've had this talent they've had it coming um
And we've seen it.
And now we're finally getting there.
I think I picked the Blue Jays to win the World Series like two years ago because I was like, oh, man, I really like this team.
I like where they're going.
And it took a little bit longer.
But right now, that lineup's pretty tough.
