And so I think there's a lot of stuff that's going on.

coming together and you know you have a guy in charge now who's done this before with every kind of team he's done it with the highest payroll he's done it with the lowest payroll um terry francona is just one of those guys that has results i mean he's going to be in the hall of fame and um that

brings a lot of positive aspects to a team, and it's almost immediate buy-in.

And we've seen that this year, and there's been some growing pains, but I think it's good in the next two, three years.

It's been good and it's actually, you know, I said this early in spring training and I will kind of double down on it, but it felt very similar to when Dusty Baker was here, right?

You have these two guys, and what I think is common to both of them and maybe all the best managers is just a sense of self-confidence.

You know, they're not – we're talking in modern-day baseball, you have so much influence from all over.

You know, even 20 years ago, guys didn't meet with the GM every day and the –

you know, present baseball operations, whatever, whatever titles you want.

And they have like six, seven guys, they have analysts, they have the explosion in the staff size.

And my time in baseball has been just kind of mesmerizing.

Um, but, but like the thing is in the end, it comes down to the one guy making the calls and, um,

I think when you have a guy like Dusty and you have a guy like Tito, the difference is I both really do listen to the analytics and believe in a lot of that stuff.

But in the end, they're going to go with their guts.

And if it doesn't work out,

They're not going to second-guess themselves.

They understand what it is.

And that self-confidence is huge.

And I think you see that in the playoffs a lot of time.

It's those guys, the Bruce Bochies, the Dusty Bakers, Tito Franconas, who will make a decision that maybe looks kind of weird, but they're trusting their gut.
